Hi- I heard this announced on NPR and they were saying people from all over were coming to La for the last cock fights since it was already banned in other states. The Lafayetters interviewed were bemoaning a loss of their native culture. Let’s hope there are no copy cat sport cancellations- the Maple Leafs could be axed as too violent!

It is better that they have banned cockfighting than passing legislation that would sanction it… which i might add i thought for sure was the subject of your post.
Give them credit for this one… baby steps.
